About Me

Hello! My name is Meena Jain and I have been an “accidental” library programmer for the last 20 years! I’ve been a library director, a programming librarian, a grant writer, and a coordinator for the Boston Kids Comics Fest. I started both the Metrowest Program Planners Group and the Programming Committee of the Massachusetts Library Association.

 

I am currently the Director of the Ashland Public Library where I get to come up with all kinds of fun and fascinating events for a growing community of library lovers. Now, as the founder of Library Programs Consulting, I am excited to share my knowledge with others!

 

I am a passionate advocate that free programming is a core service in libraries - bringing people together with shared interests to strengthen communities.

I live outside of Boston with my spouse and ghost cat.
